Table of biogas yield per 1 ton of substrate
A significant advantage of biogas production is the use of renewable energy sources. A wide and constantly available range of organic substances makes it possible to produce biogas continuously and without interruption, and helps save fossil fuels. Currently, the main sources of biomass in Ukraine are agricultural waste and residues (manure, slurry, solid manure, poultry litter, straw, corn stalks and cobs, sunflower stalks and husks), as well as — in the future — energy crops (willow, poplar, miscanthus) grown specifically for this purpose.
Any provider of technological solutions considers the amount of biogas yield that can be obtained under conditions of practically unlimited fermentation of the substrate under stable conditions.
